This is the front side of a patch reef inside of the main Agincourt Reef #4. The Chapel is a perfect place to be when the northerly winds blow.
The site got its name from the fact that a wedding took place here some years ago. This site features a vibrant coral community with a wide diversity of colourful corals seen throughout this relaxed wall dive.
Grey reef sharks are almost always seen behind the vessel as we arrive and will welcome the divers as they enter the water. Larger pelagic fish such as Trevally, Mackeral and Tuna can also be spotted out deeper waiting to feed. A large colony of Clownfish live in their anemone on top of a huge, ancient boulder coral.
The reef flat puts you within touching distance of the smaller reef fish and you are likely to encounter and hear Parrot Fish munching on the coral as they feed on the algae.
Snorkellers will also see the grey Reef Sharks as they make their way along the edge of the reef flat where it plunges down the steep wall.
